రాష్ట్రపతి అభ్యర్థిగా ఎన్డీయే తరపున ఆదివాసీ మహిళ అయిన ద్రౌపది ముర్మును ప్రకటించడం పట్ల గిరిజనులు సహా దేశ ప్రజలు హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ సంద‌ర్భంగా గిరిజన ముద్దుబిడ్డ ద్రౌపది ముర్ముకు మద్దతు ఇవ్వాలని ఢిల్లీ తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర అధికార ప్రతినిధి, మాజీ ఐఏఎస్ అధికారి, ఒడిస్సా పూర్వ సీఎస్ గౌరవ రాంచంద్రు తేజావత్ నాయక్ దేశ రాజకీయ నాయకులకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. భిన్నత్వంలో ఏకత్వం గల సువిశాల భారతదేశంలో ఒక ఎస్టీ మహిళకు ఇలాంటి అవకాశం రావడం మంచి పరిణామం అని ఆయ‌న అన్నారు. దేశ అధ్య‌క్షురాలి ప‌ద‌విని ఒక ఎస్టీ మహిళ చేప‌ట్ట‌బోతుండ‌టం దేశ ప్ర‌జ‌ల‌కు గ‌ర్వ‌కార‌ణ‌మ‌ని రాంచంద్రు తేజావత్ నాయక్ అన్నారు.

The people of the country, including tribals, are elated over the announcement of Draupadi Murmu, a tribal woman, as the NDA’s presidential candidate. On the occasion, Special Representative, Telangana Government, New Delhi, former IAS officer and former Odisha CS Ramachandru Tejavath Naik appealed to the country’s politicians to support the tribal sweetheart Draupadi Murmu.
He said it was a good development for an EST woman to have such an opportunity in a vast India united in diversity. Ramachandru Tejavath Nayak said that it was a matter of pride for the people of the country that an EST woman was going to hold the post of President of the country.
He also said the people of EST were very proud and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving them this opportunity. Draupadi, who has worked as a social worker, teacher, minister of state and governor, has dedicated his life to community service. Ramachandru Tejavath lauded Draupadi for his hard work for the empowerment of the poor and downtrodden.
